Today, I am working on a new beginning of blogging. I will forget all the old past info I would like to blog about, pictures, and video clips, and move forward with a new plan- I hope it works!
Last Sunday, we went to Wade & Ronniejean's house to drop off our tax information for Wade. We brought carmel brownies and enjoyed visiting and eating desert. The kids enjoyed playing with their cousins and playing football with their dad and uncle. We realized the next day was a holiday and planned to meet at the park for lunch. OF COURSE, as Chelsey realized she didn't have school the famous last words before we left were "Can I have a sleep over?" OF COURSE, we gave in to her wish.
Jessika and Benjamin were invited to have a sleepover at a friend's house also that night. So, now we were trying to figure out if we got rid of three, how could we get rid of the last one? But, to no avail, he wanted to have a friend stay the night with him... And OF COURSE we gave in to him too. (Despite how picked on he feels daily). So, Anthony enjoyed having a friend over, Well, you know boys, watching tv, chatting, till past midnight, they finally went to sleep...Lo and Behold to get woke up at 6am-holiday-flag day. So they put on their scout shirts and went to help deliver the flags!
Tues. and Wed. I was able to substitute as a one-on-one aide in Chelsey's classroom. OF COURSE it was fun to be in the classroom with her and see what she does everyday. Thurs. I was able to go to the Reinassance Festival with Anthony and his grade on a field trip. We enjoyed the jousting tournament, bird show, wylde men-mud show, glass blowing, and OF COURSE, the famous Turkey Leg for our lunch. Fri. brought me back to Chelsey's classroom as the aide again, but instead of the regular everyday routine, I got to go on the kindergarten field trip to the Phoenix's Childrens Museum. We had a great time! and OF COURSE, I even got paid to go on the field trip with my daughter. That was a great benefit. OF COURSE, I got absolutely nothing done that week, nor did I make any dinners, between working at the school everyday and teaching piano after school!
The weekend brought fun for the kids having friends over, playing with cousins (Monica & Adam came over Friday night-we went to dinner and let Benjamin babysit) Anthony went on his first official babysitting experience. He enjoyed it, and OF COURSE, he especially enjoyed coming home with payment instead of "we pay you, your food, your clothes, your bed, etc...) Adam, Monica, McKenna, Jeremy, and I enjoyed dinner at Arribas. Saturday the boys went to the Riperian Preserve to help with an eagle scout project. They were sanding and staining the benches. They both had a lot of fun. Meanwhile, the girls, Jeremy, & I attended a baptism of Jessika's friend. OF COURSE this was a wonderful way to start our Saturday. Afterwards we worked at learning and trying to perfect a new job routine I decided to implement for our family. We are still struggling through the routine, no-hows, and all, but this week was much smoother.
Sat. night we attended a ward party-progressive dinner. We had a nice pasta dinner at some friends and then met everyone at the church for desert. OF COURSE, it was very good and we ate way too much! And OF COURSE, Sunday we attended church and enjoyed the quiet afternoon relaxing and playing games. We took a walk to the park and Jeremy & I even played a game of Horse (basketball) and a game of tetherball. OF COURSE, I lost them both!
