So my new beginning is on a roll, Monday-laundry, clean-up email, & blog the past week...Sounds good, here goes week #2...

CRAZY HAIR!!!!CRAZY KIDS!!!!
Curious George was visiting the Riperian Preserve and the girls went to see him. We also saw a blue herion, the cactus wren, turtles in the pond, and a few other desert animals as we walked around the preserve. This is were the boys helped with an eagle scout project a couple weeks back.

We had the Scout Blue & Gold Banquet this past week. Benjamin received some activity pins and we enjoyed a nice dinner.

Anthony's HATS progam at school had a special activity where they each made a bottle rocket and then they got to launch them off. Ofcourse, we procrastinated and dad and Anthony ended up making it in one night. It looked good, but even though we followed the directions to a "T", when we tried to launch it, the bottle we used didn't fit on the launchers. I had gone to watch and help with the activity; and after realizing he couldn't launch it, we tried to alter the top by adding another 1/2 bottle at the top (to get a different sized top). We were able to get a small launch-and we learned that, well, duck tape and water just don't work well together-hmmm-no matter how much tape you put on!

Last Friday we were able to meet Wade's Family, Mark & Casey, & Grandpa at Someburro's for dinner. The food was great as always and so was the fasinating entertainment from the kids. *Isaiah's lovely "conehead" hat (a churro wrapper-hopefully all the cinnamon fell out--before he put it on his head!*

*Carter blowing bubbles (I think that's what he was working so hard to do!)* - Thanks to Casey for the quarters for the bubble gum!
*Chelsey's lovely attempts at posing for these pictures!*
*All the kids were very entertaining and it was fun visiting with the gang! Thanks for inviting us!
We also joined Wade's family Sat. evening for good old hamburgers BBQ. Grandpa, Wade, & Mark worked on the Mustang and Ronni, Casey, & I played Sequence-Don't tell anyone but I let Casey WIN! HaHa
And now for the truth.....Yes, the first paragraph was written Mon-but that was it (I ended up taking lunch to Grandpa at Wade's house and visited with Monica and Ronni. Then Grandpa somehow found me useful and so I helped him as he was working on the Mustang for a little while!... and now it is Friday and I am just now getting around to actually doing my blog-so much for my GRAND PLAN!
Tues & Wed I ended up substituting for a 3rd grade class at the kids's school. Wed was really good as it was their field trip to the Mesa Southwest Museum. The teacher planned all the kids out with chaperones, so in turn, I got to enjoy the field trip all by myself & get paid for it! That was AWESOME!
Thursday was our yearly famous CRAZY HAIR DAY! and it was pretty crazy around our house. And as always, I take front & back views!

Chelsey Lou Who??
